Ingredients:
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
2 ripe medium bananas, cut up
3 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
1 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 6-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
2 tbsp lemon juice 1 28-ounce bottle carbonated water, chilled
Orange slices or fresh mint leaves (optional)

Method:
- In a 3-quart saucepan combine water and sugar.
- Bring to boiling, stirring till sugar is dissolved.
- Boil syrup gently, uncovered, for 3 minutes; remove from heat and cool.
- Meanwhile, in a blender container combine cup-up ripe bananas and half of the unsweetened pineapple juice.

- (Or, cover with moisture-vaporproof wrap. Seal, label, and freeze for as long as 2 months. If desired, break up partially frozen mixture and store in smaller containers to use as needed.)
- To serve, remove fruit mixture from freezer, let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes (or, for 5 to 10 minutes if mixture has liquor in it.)
- To form a slush, scrap a large spoon across the surface of the frozen mixture.
- Spoon into a punch bowl. - Slowly pour in carbonated water, stir gently to mix.
- Garnish with orange slices or fresh mint leaves, if desired.
- Makes 25 (4-ounce) servings.

Variation: Spiked Slushy Punch: Prepare Slushy Punch as above, except add 1 ½ cups light rum or vodka along with the fruit juices. Continue as directed. Makes 28 (4-ounce) servings.
Note: For individual servings, spoon or scoop slush into each glass. Slowly pour in carbonated water, using equal amounts of slush and carbonated water. Stir gently to mix. Garnish as above.
