How to have the perfect Resume

Many people when writing a resume tend to make a lot of blunder, and this is a big NO NO for recruiters. To get the perfect resume try and avoid all the resume "bloopers"

Spelling and proofreading errors
Make sure that you spell check and proof read your resume. Many applicants as stupid as it sounds do not check the spelling of their work.

If a recruiter sees incorrect spelling, he or she will not continue to read your resume, no matter how good it looks on paper. Make sure to check spell your work in words document, or ask someone to proofread it for you, as you do not sometimes see the mistake in our own work.

Bad Grammar
Another NO NO for recruiters, as they have no patience and time to be reading something with grammatical errors. Again make sure you use words document to check your grammar and also get someone to proof read your work.

Sometimes proofreading and grammar-check might not be as accurate, a tool you can use is review your resume.

Make sure information is correct
Make sure your email address and your telephone numbers are correct, make just make simple error. Also use email address with appropriate names, do not use email address with expletives.

Irrelevant details
Do not include information about your religion or your hobbies about how you like watching TV or irrelevant extracurricular activities. Just merely write about your accomplishments as they relate to the job you are applying for.

References
Never use a person that is not going to say something great about you. Make sure you chose someone that will represent you well. Do not ask your brother or a friend who is not an eloquent speaker as your reference

Also do not bad mouth someone you use as a reference to the recruiter.
Most recruiters recommend leaving off references on your resume; therefore supply them only when asked.

How to get rid of blackheads

A blackhead is caused by excess oil that has clogged a pore. Blackhead if not properly treated can leave holes and spots on the face.

To prevent blackheads do not use creamy, greasy, and thick (emollient) products, or bar soap. As the ingredients that hold soap in a bar form can clog the pores in your skin. They can also cause skin cells to flake off prematurely and clog the pores. Also try to keep your hair away from your face, as your hair sometimes has oil that can clog the pores.

Natural treatments

1.Steam Face
Steaming your face will open up the pore making it easy to squeeze the blackhead. Steam face for 10 mins, either by placing hot towel over over your face, or holding your head over a hot water.

2. Pat your face dry

3. Place a piece of tissue on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, which could tear the skin and cause further damage.

4. Gently apply even pressure to both sides of the blackhead by pushing down, then up around the blemish. You're trying to apply the pressure from *underneath* the blackhead.

5. Wash face with cold water to close back pores, then put on a moisturizer.

Other natural remedies

Toothpaste and baking soda paste
After you steam your face,as describe a above, place toothpaste and baking soda paste ONLY on the area where the blackheads are. Leave on for 15 minutes, Do this once per week

Almond paste
Mix almond powder or oatmeal with rose water and make a soft paste. Gently rub it on your face, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water.

Tumeric/curry paste
Mix turmeric powder with lemon juice, apply the paste on the affected area, leave it for 15 minutes and wash it with lukewarm water

How to have a luxury wedding for less

Many girls dream of having a fairytale wedding, but this kind of ceremony comes with a very huge budget. What if you can get a beautiful luxury wedding for half the price? I watch Platinum weddings on the WE network, and who doesn’t want a wedding like that. Well here is your chance of a dream wedding on a budget.
The Décor
Centerpiece is a good way to make your wedding look chic and pricey, but this can be done on a budget too. You can do a simply stand with roses and carnations, put on a gold ball set in floral foam. Gold appear rich and luxurious which brings attention to the table. This can be done at average cost of $250.00. Add candles using continuing with the same theme of gold and crystal.

Invitation
For your invitation chose rich colors, example pastel shade paired with a muted metallic says “upscale” Do not stick to the boring white or cream, colors make a statement.

Use thermography or offset printing, because letterpress printing is very expensive. You can use contemporary font along with artful motif to bring out the design, this cost can run you roughly about $14 each which includes printed envelope, reception card, RSVP and map, from(www.invitedelight.com)

Buy your invitations as package, which will include your thank you notes also. This is a good way to save on cost.

Table
Use inexpensive place card for guest. A cost effective way to do this, is by printing the guest names on fine papers and display in pretty frames. You can get nice looking frames at the dollar store.

Choose lines that are lively for the table, such as bright hue or with plenty of texture (stitching, beading) giving the appearance of luxury.

Use votives, tapers and lanterns which are inexpensive to add ambiance to the table. Place votives alongside your centerpieces to cast a soft glow, and add tapers to give the arrangements greater height. If it is an outdoor wedding hang lantern along the walkway, this will illuminates it.

The Cake
Using fresh flowers can drastically cut the cost of your cake and at the same time make your cake look expensive. Decorate your cake with fresh flowers, silk ribbon and faux pearls. Also gorgeous stand gives a cake a big presence

The Three P's of Success!

Starting and building an Internet business is not an easy task. There is the never-ending learning about promotion, marketing, website design and building, technical problems, HTML, cgi, java; the list goes on and on. There are a few things you should think about when you are planning your online business. These three things are some of the most basic yet most important aspects that could make your business a success!

These are Perseverance, Passion and People!

**Perseverance - Building a successful online business can take months or even years. Examine your goals and your life.

Will you have what it takes to not give up when things are going bad?

Do you have the determination to work this business for weeks or months without making any money?

Do you want to give up most of the small amount of spare time that you now have?

Go over these questions in your mind and see what you come up with. Despite all the "get rich quick" ads you see, this most likely will not happen. Most people will not even get rich slowly, however, you can make a good income.

You might start making a small amount of money in a few weeks or months, then you might not make any for a few months. You must not let yourself give up, when business is not all it's cracked up to be! You must have Perseverance!

**Passion - When you are choosing your business, build your business around something that interests you, something that you are passionate about. This will help you keep going when things get tough.

Will I want to work with this business everyday?

Does this business interest me enough to keep my determination going?

Will my passion override any doubts that I will have about becoming successful?

Ask yourself these questions and see what the answers are. You cannot build a successful business around something you have no passion or knowledge about. If you are nuts about horses, build your business around horses, not cats! You must have Passion!

**People - When you are working an online business, you have to get involved with people. It may not be face to face, but you will have to deal with people from all over the world, everyday. Treat everyone with respect and answer all questions in a timely and courteous manner. You must also be able to deal with rude people. Treat these people with respect also. Be firm, but courteous. Rarely have I had to deal with this problem, but it does come up.

Do I want to have to deal with all those people on a day-to-day basis?

Can I handle all the different situations that can arise when dealing with people?

Can I accept the fact that I cannot please everyone and be able to handle the rejection?

You do not necessarily have to be "the life of the party" but you must be able to handle the problems that working with all kinds of people can bring. You must be able to deal with people!

I must tell you that I have made so many friends since starting Web Success. It is one of the most enjoyable aspects of Internet marketing. Web Success is the second business that I started on the Internet. With the first business, I did not take the three P's into consideration and it failed within a year.

When I planned out Web Success, I really thought about what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it. Because of that planning I have learned a few things about myself.

I have learned that I have more perseverance than I thought possible.

I have learned that I have a passion for helping people get started with their business and that I am good at it.

I have learned that working with people all over the world has been a thoroughly enjoyable, rewarding and interesting experience.
Remember the three P's of success when planning your goals and your chances of building a profitable business will be much greater!

The "Not So Secret" Secrets of Success

Have you ever heard of the "secrets of success"? Many times people are trying to sell you these "secrets" for a very high price! Well, in my five years of Internet marketing experience, I haven't learned any "secrets".

These so-called "secrets" are mostly common sense and hard work. We all know these "secrets". We just have to apply them and use them consistently.

"Secret" #1 - People
Dealing with people can be hard, but we all know we must be courteous and professional. You need to accept the fact that you cannot please everybody. When you come across one of these people you cannot please no matter what you do, just deal with them firmly, but courteously and professionally. Not a "secret"!

Our Motto -Treat people as you would like to be treated!

"Secret" #2 - Passion
We all know that we need to like we do in order to be really successful at it. If you are interested in pets do not start a business dealing with cars! ;-) Building an online business will take a lot of passion to get through the frustration, obstacles, and other difficulties. There will be many times when we will need our passion to get us through! Not a "secret"!

"Secret" #3 - Customer Service
Another "secret" is to treat the customer with respect and courtesy. It will not be easy to deal with difficult customers this way, but it can be done. I have worn down some of the nastiest customers by a continuing campaign of courtesy, politeness and professionalism!

Each time I dealt with this one lady, she was less and less rude and upset and more relaxed and easy to deal with. Eventually, she was thanking me and praising me for being so helpful and nice. Don't be condescending and don't let yourself get upset. Remain calm, yet be firm and respectful. Not a "secret"!

"Secret #4 - Promotion
To build a business, people must know that you and your business exist. Advertising, promotion and networking are how this is done. Set up a promotion schedule and stick with it. Be consistent. This may get tedious at times, but it must be done!

Write and submit articles, publish an ezine, get listed all over the web, do link exchanges, swap ezine ads, compile a fr~e ebook for viral marketing, subscribe to announcement lists, visit message boards, get involved in discussion groups........there are hundreds of ways of promoting yourself and your online business! Not a "secret"!

"Secret" #5 - Hard Work
Despite what many people have said, it is not easy to "get rich overnight" and "making thousands a week, while doing nothing" just doesn't happen. To be successful you will need to work and work hard. This is where passion for your work comes in! Not a "secret"!

"Secret" #6 - Commitment
Expanding on the hard work "secret", you will need to make a commitment to success. You must be willing to make sacrifices and work long hours. This will not happen overnight....it could take years. Are you prepared for years of frustration, hard work, ups and downs, dealing with people (good and bad), rejections, and everything else that comes along with building a business? Not a "secret"!

"Secret" #7 - Pride
Take pride in your work. Your work and your business will be a reflection of you. Build your reputation for a solid foundation of success. Be true to yourself and your business. Not a "secret"!

"Secret" #8 - Goals
Be aware of what you want and how you want to get it. Do not go blindly into business without some planning of your goals and accomplishments. Use short term smaller goals to eventually reach your long term ultimate goal of success. Not a "secret"!

So we know in order to start and build a business, we must plan our goals, be prepared for the work and commitment of building that business, and that we must build a reputation of trust and professionalism.

I know we all knew that. It just helps to be reminded once in awhile! ;-)

25 Easy Money-Saving Tips

1. Cut out the soda and drink more water! You'd be surprised how much you will save.

2. Go over your grocery list. Try buying more off-brands. Most of the ones I've tried are just as good as their more expensive counterparts.

3. Buy clothes and shoes for you and the kids from the clearance racks. I have been buying my sons' school clothes this way for years!

4. Get movies from the library instead of renting them.

5. Same with books, borrow instead of buy. We usually only read them once anyway.

6. Go on a picnic instead of going to the restaurant. It is more fun and much cheaper!

7. Toss all your change in a "piggy bank" of some kind and let it accumulate for a few months or longer. You will think you struck it rich! (Not really, but it does add up)

8. If you have all the movie channels, cut them down a bit. Most of the movies rotate through them all anyway.

9. Do your laundry at night. The rates are cheaper.

10. Give your clothes an extra spin as it costs less to run a washer than the dryer.

11. Ask your credit card companies for a lower interest rate. Sometimes rather than lose a good customer, they will grant your wish!

12. Buy your holiday decorations AFTER the holiday. You can save up to 75% or more.

13. Turn down your heat a couple degrees more at night and throw on an extra blanket.

14. Clean behind your refrigerator at least once a year to get out all the dust and dirt that can cost you more money.

15. Save empty bread bags and grocery bags instead of buying box after box of storage bags.

16. Keep your car tune and your tires properly inflated to save money on gas.

17. Buy inexpensive fabric for cloth napkins, doilies, etc.

18. Be creative when it comes to decorating. Use sheets to make curtains. Use an old quilt as a cozy wall-hanging. Create an artful display with family photos.

19. Save the new, convenient plastic coffee cans with handles. Paint them, decorate them and use them for organizers for kids art supplies, your CDs, pens & pencils, food envelopes, recipes, craft supplies, etc.

20. Turn unused stuff into money. If you have a gift you haven't used or that shirt you bought and never wore, take them back to the store. You might not get full price, but some is better than none.

21. Use petroleum jelly to remove make-up. It is much more economical then beauty products made for removing make-up.

22. Hydrogen peroxide can be used to kill germs in cuts and sores rather then expensive antibiotic medicines.

23. Make windowsill or container gardens and grow herbs and fresh vegetables.

24. Instead of a night on the town, send the kids to Grandma's and have a romantic night at home.

25. Make and STICK TO a budget! Find out more by emailing budgeting@getresponse.com

How to Have Your Own Online Party!

Online parties can be a successful and fun way to build your home business. These parties are similar to home parties except that you do not have to pay a small fortune for refreshments and snacks! ;-)

You can have your party in a free or low cost chat room or you can have your party via email. Be sure and create a relaxed and fun atmosphere for your guests. We would recommend a chat room.

You can either recruit someone to host the party for you or you can be the host. There is also something called "Mystery Host Party". This is where you draw or randomly select a guest to be the "Mystery Host" and receive the host benefits

You will need to schedule your party. We have found that during the week is best unless it is winter. Then weekends can be a good time also. Give yourself plenty of time to plan and send out invitations.

Plan your specials. You definitely want to have some items on special. Maybe some that tie in with your theme, if you have one. Give a 25% discount on certain items, but make sure you leave enough profit as well. You could also offer a small free gift with all orders over $25, for example.

When it is time to send out the invites, email groups and message boards can be a great place to start. Send out the invitations (follow guidelines on this). Also invite friends, neighbors, co-workers. Let everyone know they can bring a guest or two or however many you like.

Have each guest introduce themselves and tell (type) a little about themselves. This will help bring the guests together.

You also want to make sure you have some fun and interesting games to play. And of course, for each game you will need prizes. Below are some popular party games:

*Scavenger Hunt - make a list of several items and instruct your guests to find them on your site.

*Word Scramble - Pick about 10 words from your site and see who can get them all right in the least amount of time. Let your guests know the words come from your site/business.

*Trivia Questions - Write up a list of questions about your site/business.

There are many more fun, exciting games to play at your party! Make up your own if you like as well.

You, of course, will also want to spend some time presenting your products. If you offer home decor items, share some tips and ideas on home decorating with your products. If you offer aromatherapy items, explain the benefits of your products. Make your presentation fun, informative and relaxed. Let the quests ask questions and always be clear and candid with your answers.

The idea here is to relax, have fun, show your items and make new contacts/customers. If your guests have a good time and enjoy themselves, they will sure to come back to your next party! ;-)

Search Engine Tips & Techniques

As you are building your site or getting your site built, you need to do as much as you can to ensure higher rankings in the search engines. There are a variety of little tips and techniques you can use to do this.

Meta tags & keywords - Meta tags are included in the section of your site and are read by the search engines. The two most important kind are "description" and "keywords" Description is a description of the content of your site and keywords is a list of keywords relevant to the page.

Affordable Advertising for Your Home Business

Marketing and advertising a home business takes a lot of time, commitment and work. Those who say all you need to do is put up a website and watch the cash come in couldn't be further from the truth!

We need to do as many things and try as many ways as we can to get our name out there and establish our business and reputation, whether it be online, offline or both! This takes imagination, and perseverance! Below are affordable and fairly easy ways you can begin to build your home business.

1. Word of Mouth - talk to as many people as you can about your business. Bring it into the conversation at every opportunity. By doing this, you could be starting a domino effect. Some of the people you talk to mention it to others and so on & so on. Your business has to become a part of you and your daily life.

2. Business Cards - When you are talking to all these people, be sure and give them a business card. Business cards are very important and do not cost a fortune. A good place to get business cards for only a small shipping charge is http://tinyurl.com/6t7mw .

Take advantage of the backs of the business cards as well for sales, specials, catchy messages - anything to help make you and your business more memorable. Business cards can be left almost anywhere and can also be sent in all your mail correspondence.

3. Prizes - Contact your local radio stations, stores, etc. that have contests. There are many places online that have sweepstakes and contests as well. Offer your products/services as prizes in these contests. This is a great way of getting a lot of affordable exposure.

4. Use Testimonials - Take advantage of what others say about you. Have one on your business card, flyers, etc. Use them whenever you can. Most people will put a lot of stock in what other customers say.

5. Customer Service - For a lot of businesses these days, this seems to be a lost art. You need to go the extra mile for your customers and make them feel special and appreciated. This will do a lot for your business. These customers will give glowing reports of you to their friends and family.

6. Flyers - Design and print flyers right from your computer. Post them on bulletin boards at grocery stores, churches, malls, post offices, banks, etc. Use brightly colored paper to get people's attention. Make the message interesting enough so they want to visit your site.

7. Article Writing & Submitting - This can be a very powerful method of advertising as it not only brings people to your site, it builds your reputation as someone who knows what they are talking about an this will bring trust. I believe just about anyone can sit down and write information on things they know. You do not have to be a writer nor a college graduate to write effective articles.

After you have written your first article, start submitting it all over the net. There are article groups, article banks, and publishers who accept article submissions.

8. Networking Groups and Boards - Networking is when you come in contact with as many people you can to learn, share, promote, and form relationships with prospective customers and associates. Get to know others, learn from them, let them learn from you and get to know you. This is an excellent way of building a strong foundation for your business. Networking can also bring you a lot of referrals from your associates.

9. Online Mailing List - Make sure you capture your visitors' emails and mailing addresses, if possible. Start a mailing list or newsletter for your visitors. Keep them up to date on your products, services, specials, etc. You might also want to give them some useful information in your newsletter. For more info on starting a newsletter sign up for this free ecourse:ezine-publishing-ecourse@getresponse.com

10. Moving Billboard - Turn your car into a moving billboard. Put a magnetic sign or decal on your car so you can advertise your business wherever you go. Be sure and have catalogs/business cards handy for anyone who is interested.

11. Link Exchanges - Link exchanges can bring you a lot of traffic and they can improve your search engine ratings. For those of you who are not familiar with link exchanges - this is when you and add a link to another site on your site and they would add a link to your site on their site, linking them together.

Choose sites that are complimentary to yours, example: if you have a site that sells pet supplies, link to sites that give info on how to care for pets, or where to get pets, etc. Email the webmaster and invite them to have a look at your site.

I hope some of these ideas help you get started with an effective advertising campaign. They have helped me tremendously!

Blog Your Way to More Traffic & Sales

Blog is short for web log. A web log is a journal of sorts that is updated frequently to keep your visitors’ interest. Blogs are generally of a personal nature and express the opinions and thoughts of the webmaster. Blogs also contain links and other resources. Many people think of blogs as “online diaries.” Blogging is becoming a very popular method of publishing as it does not require any technical knowledge and it can greatly increase the popularity of your site. Some blogs allow the visitors to post and enter there thoughts and opinions as well.

A blog keeps people coming back to your site and a blog is also very helpful with the search engines because of the ever changing content. Search engines love new content!

Starting a blog is not hard. There are sites that provide this service for free.

First step is to take a look at some other blogs to get a feel of how they are done. Simply pick your favorite search engines, do a search for blogs and spend sometime reading and studying them. Get familiar with different styles, formats and content until you feel like you know what you would want to do with your blog.

You can then get started on your own blog. There are lots of sites where you can start your own blog for free:
BlogDrive.com
Blogger.com/start
LiveJournal.com

Take some time to design your blog. Decide what color scheme you want to use and the type of layout you want. Some sites will have pre-designed layouts and templates to choose from or you can edit your own.

After you get your blog designed and set up, test it out with a few posts. Make any necessary changes you feel it needs. Once you have it tweaked, it is time to get started with your new blog.

Once you start your blog, be sure and promote it heavily. Post it in blog directories, announce it in groups and on boards. Put it in your sigtag.

Blog Directories:
BlogWise.com
BlogCatalog.com
BlogHub.com

Do a search for blog directory or submit your blog and you will find many more places to post your new blog!

Be sure and update your blog frequently and make it interesting. Give it some personality! DO NOT neglect your blog!

Don't get discouraged if your blog is not an overnight sensation. As with any marketing, it takes time to get noticed. Keep it fresh and new and interesting and before long, you will be a master blogger!

Build Your Site for Success

There are many things to consider when you want to put up a website. Page design, layout, sections, colors, and navigation are a few things you will need to consider.

One thing you can do before you design your site is visit a few sites and see how they are set up. Take notice of things you found interesting and what makes each site stand out. Why do you like it? Why do you not like it? Take notes of your findings.

Color is very important in designing a website. To read more about colors in your design visit ColorMatters.com

Another important thing to remember when you are designing your website is that you want a clean, sharp, professional look. It might be pretty if your site looks like a Las Vegas nightclub, but your visitors will most likely get confused and annoyed and go to another site. You want a clean, uniform design on all pages which should also be easy to navigate.

Another thing you should think about is content. You want to provide quality, helpful information and content, not just sales and ads. Getting traffic to your site is not as hard as getting them to come back to your site. If you have quality information and resources, they will have a reason to come back.

For example: If you have a website about pets, put up articles on pet care and have links to other websites (complimentary not competing) that contain resources for pet owners.

Do a search for article directories and/or banks and you should have no trouble finding articles of any subject. Use a couple targeted words in your search such as pet care article directory, etc.

Everybody loves a freebie! Offer free ebooks, free tutorials, free articles, free downloads, etc.

Another way to keep visitors coming back is to get them involved with your site. Start a discussion board, have a weekly or monthly contest, have your visitors fill out surveys and draw a winner from all the entries. Start a blog and keep the content fresh and up to date. Allow your visitors to post their comments.

There are many ways to get people involved. Be creative and always be adding fresh content to your site. Update regularly. This is also a must for the search engine spiders. If you want them to notice your site, you NEED to keep adding fresh and targeted content.

To let everybody know about your updates and new content, start your own ezine. With an ezine you will be able to build relationships with your visitors. You will gain their trust and keep them interested in visiting your site. Take a look at our free ezine publishing tutorial for help.

Building, maintaining and promoting a website is challenging, rewarding and takes a lot of work. You will have many ups and downs, but do not let the downs deter you from your goals. Best of luck to you all!

How to Write Your First Ebook

One of the best ways to build your online income is by writing & distributing ebooks. Ebooks can be a very effective tool for marketing your business and they can also be big money makers. Ebooks are also a useful resource for whatever information you are looking for.

There are a few things you should remember if you are going to write an ebook.

1. Just as your ezine should not be a giant ad, nor should your ebook. Be sure to fill it full of useful and valuable information.

2. Your ebook should be compiled in a simple, yet professional design. Make your ebook look good, but do not overdo. Make sure people can maneuver around the book with ease.

3. Take the time to do the research and write an effective and informative ebook. Your ebook will be circulating around the web and will say a great deal about you and your business.

4. Ebooks are a great giveaway for your visitors and/or subscribers. Everyone is looking for useful information which can be found in ebooks.

5. You might want to use your first ebook as a giveaway. This will entice more people to read your ebook, which in turn will get more people to see how good it is. When you do write your first ebook to sell, you will have already established your reputation for writing a useful and informative ebook.

6. You do not have to be a writer to write an ebook. Just as with articles, all you need to do is gather, organize and outline your information. Always add resources and links when applicable. A good ebook for giveaway can be as simple as a collection of your articles or the articles of other authors.

7. You do not need any expensive software to make your ebook. Simply write your ebook in Word or similar program and then convert the file to pdf. PDF can be read on all computers as opposed to exe. You can find more info on this in our free tutorial on making money with ebooks.

8. After you finish your ebook, you want to start promoting it. Add it to your website, put it in your email sigtag, submit it to as many websites and directories that you can find, add it to your article resource box, announce it on message boards and email discussion lists where allowed, make a separate web page for it and submit the page to search engines, add it to your ezine welcome letter as a free bonus. The possibilities are endless if you use your imagination and let as many people know about your ebook as possible. Be sure to encourage people to also give it to their subscribers/visitors as a free gift.

9. Make sure you have contact links listed in your ebook so people can easily contact you or visit your website. Also, be sure to have your ezine and subscribe address listed.

10. Everyone can find ebooks useful not only for finding the information they seek, but for promoting their business and website as well as establishing a solid reputation. They are also big moneymakers and just about anyone can write and profit from a carefully and effectively done ebook.

Make it fun, interesting and believe in yourself and you will produce a very successful ebook!

Starting Your Own Home Business

Ok, so you have researched the facts, weighed the pros and cons and have finally decided that a home business is right for you. But now you need to figure out what type of business you want and how to proceed with starting this business.

There are many types of home businesses but not all of them are right for all people. You need to ask yourself these questions: Do I want to start my own business from scratch? Do I just want to join an MLM and sell for someone else? Do I want to sell physical products or digital products? Do I want to do all the work online or offline too? Do I want help with my business or do I want to go solo? Do I just want to become an affiliate and sell other people's online products?

MLM/Direct Sales - The company you sell for is in control of how you run your business. You are paid a commission for sales and usually have to recruit a downline.

Distributorship - You are in control of your own business. You keep all profits and do not need to recruit a downline.

Digital Products - Selling digital products such as ebooks is done online and there is no need for an inventory, shipping or worrying about damaged goods.

Affiliate Programs - many people make a good online income just by selling other people's products.

Service Provider - This would include such things as virtual assistant, party planner, pet sitter, etc.

These types of businesses can be combined to form one very successful business. Such as applying for a distributorship and then also offering ebooks on your online store site.

Once you have chosen your business and gotten all your permits, tax numbers, etc, you will need to start marketing your new business. There are countless ways to do this online and offline.

Offline Marketing
Offline marketing would include: business cards, flyers, attending your community events and networking, attending expos, craft fairs, trade shows, postcards, phone calls, newsletter advertising, door hangers, radio, fundraisers, school functions, catalog distribution, mailing lists, home parties, car magnets, brochures, seminars, yellow pages and more. Use your creativity to come up with your own unique marketing ideas.

Online Marketing
Marketing strategies online include: link exchanges, search engines, autoresponders, online auctions, email press release, online chats/seminars, ebooks, blogging, tutorials, ad swapping, ezine publishing, article marketing and much more!

To market your home business takes a lot of work, consistency, time and commitment. Handing out a couple business cards and throwing up a website will not suffice. Work as many as these marketing ideas as you can. Find out which ones really work for you and then expand on them. Then try more!

I want to make sure you understand that you cannot treat your business as a hobby. If you want a successful business with a full time income, you have to work your business full time. If you find one of these programs that claim you can make thousands a week for 5 minutes of work, (that actually work) please let me know. In the meantime, start using some of these ideas and get your business name out there!

Five Ways to Boost Your Marketing Power

Building an online business is not easy, especially when you are on a very limited budget. As I come in contact with more people, I realize that numerous publishers and netpreneurs are overlooking some very effective free advertising opportunities

Examples of these opportunities are:
1. Welcome letter for your subscribers - I subscribe to tons of groups and ezines and am always disappointed when I get the default welcome letter. Personalize it by introducing yourself and letting the subscriber know about your website/business. This is a crucial moment in that you can start bonding/connecting with the reader before they even get your ezine.

*Inform them of any specials you might have.
*Tell them your advertising rates and add a testimonial.
*Invite them to your site to utilize the free resources.
*Let them know your email so they can contact you.
*Use some of the space for ad swapping with otherpublishers and their welcome letters.
*Add an affiliate product or program review

2. Goodbye letter for your subscribers - This is your last chance to get this person back. Make it a good one! ;-)

Thank them for being a subscriber and encourage them to re-sub. I also have a little message in my goodbye letter that encourages people to let me know why they unsubbed.

By doing this you might be able to change their minds and if not, you could find ways to improve your ezine for the next subscriber. Remember, always send them an appreciative thank you note as well.

3. Email Signature - This simple but powerful method of promotion is unknown to some. By using an effective email signature, every time your email goes out to someone, you have free advertising. Join several discussion groups and message boards to utilize your sigtag to the maximum.

Example of a email signature:
Warm regards,
Jane Doser

FREE Ecourses - Sign-up for one or all!
(Put link here.)
Build Your Business with Us!
(Put subscribe email here.)

You want to keep your signature fairly short - about 6 - 8 lines. Many discussion groups will have a limit to the number of lines you can have in your sigtag.

Example:P.S. Need more subscribers? FR~E Report
(put email or link here)

Then you would have your main message on auto- responder. Do not just send them a sales pitch. Add some useful information and resources that will actually help the reader. This will get you more credibility, which is extremely important if you want more customers.

5. Thank you page - An excellent way to get more subscribers is to get together with a group of fellow publishers and set up a group subscription page. Every time someone subscribes to one of the group's ezine, the thank you page will come up with a message something like this:

Thank you for subscribing to the Bulletin. Take this opportunity to check out more quality ezines. Please check the ones you wish to receive.

You would have each groups member's ezine listed with a short description. This is a very powerful method of gaining subscribers because the person is already in a subscribing mood and will most likely check most or all of the other ezines.

The above advertising opportunities are quite simple, but simple can be most effective!

How to Market Your Ebook

Writing and marketing your own ebook is an excellent way to help build your online and/or home business.

Being able to offer your own informative, quality ebook will establish you as someone who knows what they are talking about. This will earn you trust and respect and go a long way towards building your online presence.

People will start coming to you and your site when they need products, advice, support, help, etc. thus bringing you many more customers and /or subscribers.

There are many ways to market your ebook. Some of the best ways are listed below:

Put your ebook in your sigtag along with a free bonus. The free bonus will attract more people and bring in more sales.

Joint Ventures: Team up with other ebook authors or ezine publishers or webmasters to cross promote each other's products or services. Agree to send referrals to each other and recommend each other's products.

Use an excerpt from your ebook as an article and submit it to as many directories as possible. Be sure to mention your ebook in your resource box.

Search out quality targeted ezines and purchase solo or top sponsor ad spots.

Submit your ebook to as many ebook directories as you can. The more links to your ebook, the better.

Write a keyword rich sales page and optimize it for the search engines with meta tags and page title.

Offer two or three free bonuses with your ebook. Make and offer that is very hard or impossible to refuse.

Ask a few people to write reviews for your ebook in exchange for a free copy. Post the reviews on your site. Offer a free report as a lead-in to your ebook. People love free information and if you offer a quality report that gets them interested they very well may want to buy your ebook.

If you publish an ezine, ask other ezine publishers to swap solo or top sponsor ads. I prefer top sponsor ads but many marketers have said that solo ads get the most results.

Start an affiliate program and offer people a percentage to sell your ebook. One of the best places to do this is Clickbank. For a small fee you can set up your affiliate program and increase your sales many times over.

Offer the first chapter or two as a freebie. Be sure and leave them wanting more.

Visit message boards or join discussion groups to learn marketing strategies that have worked for other publishers and authors. If it works for them, it can work for you as well.

As with any marketing campaign, you have to stick with it. Be consistent. You cannot submit to a couple of directories and post to a couple message boards and then sit back and wait to get rich. Marketing is a daily commitment.

The possibilities are endless as to ways to market your ebook. Be sure and combine many of the strategies for one successful marketing campaign. Be creative and come up with new innovative marketing ideas. Find out what works and get started marketing that new ebook!

How to Find Ideas for Writing Articles

Writing articles every couple of weeks or so is a great idea for your online business but it can sometimes be hard to find good subject mater for your article. You write article after article and finally you just seem to draw a blank on what to write about. I am sure that has happened to all of us at one time or another. When it happens to me there are a few things that I can do to find fresh ideas. These tips will work for you as well. Below are some good places to find interesting and fresh article content.

*Blogs - Blogs are a great place to find ideas for your article as many different things are discussed on blogs. People share their opinions, ideas, experiences and questions.

*Message Boards - Message boards are a good source of information as well. Follow the discussions and see what things people are interested in and need to know more about. I have written many articles from information I read on the boards.

*Email Discussion Groups - Again, get involved in the discussions. Find out what information people are looking for. Not only can you get ideas for your articles, but you can learn a lot as well and make some new contacts. Just go to Yahoo and do a search for the appropriate type of group for your business.

*Internet News Sites - Keeping up with Internet marketing news is very important for your business. Not only for writing articles but for keeping abreast of new developments, ideas, technology, etc. Research and write your articles to keep your readers informed as well.

*Read through your email - Take note of what people are asking you about and what they are most concerned with. Keep a file on hand and record all questions that can be used to create a powerful article.

*Subscribe to ezines - Ezines can be a goldmine of information and ideas. They allow you to keep up to date on the latest products, programs, biz opps, etc. Some of this information can make great articles.

*Do a survey - Write a two or three question survey and send it out to associates or discussion group members or better yet, your subscribers. Give your readers the information and news they are looking for.

For example: What questions do you have about Internet marketing? What resources do you need that you cannot find? Questions like this could give you some innovative article ideas.

*Read other articles - By reading other articles, you can come up with an unusual twist or angle for an overused idea. It sometimes helps to get different views and insights on the same old idea. NOTE: Never copy information or content from an article, ezine, or website.

*What would YOU like to know more about - Pick a topic you need to learn about, do some research and turn it into a resourceful article. This is a great way to learn while promoting your online business.

Always keep an open mind and eye out for article ideas. After awhile you will begin to se ideas automatically all over the net. Keep a notebook handy and when you think of an idea write it down in your notebook. I tend to think of ideas while lying awake in the middle of the night. I learned right away that if I don't write them down, they are totally gone by morning.

And remember, people want and need basic, straight forward, helpful information. They do not want or need college words, fancy storylines or over-dramatized articles. Also, do not be afraid to give your articles a little personality, humor and best of all, heart. Write as if you were talking to the reader and doing your best to help them.

Articles are one of the most powerful marketing methods online. Don't let a little doubt stop you from making this big step towards success!

Best Online Marketing Techniques

I have been in internet marketing for over ten years and have seen marketing techniques come and go. Some are still around and some are new and innovative. Below you will find what I believe to be the best and most effective marketing techniques.

Article Marketing - Article marketing was and is one of the most powerful online marketing methods available. Not only does it do wonders for you and your business, it is free!

Article marketing consists of writing helpful, informative, easy to understand articles that actually help your readers, not try to sell them something. Then you submit them to article banks, directories and to ezine publishers. When your article runs in a popular ezine, it can do great things for your business. Writing articles is not as hard as you might think so give it a try. You will be surprised at how much it can do for your business.

Remember:
*Don't worry about fancy words. People are looking for help not big words.
*Advertise in your resource box, not your article.
*Provide real, helpful info and resources, not hype!
*Write from the heart! Let your personality shine through in your articles.

Blogging - Blogging is a newer form of online marketing that just started becoming popular in the late 90's. Blog is short for weblog and means an online publication in the form of a log or journal. Blogs can increase your customer base, your traffic and your search engine ranking, thus increasing your sales!

Blogging can be done for free through such sites as: blogger.com, wordpress.com and livejournal.com

Be sure and update your blog regularly; everyday would be best, as people like fresh content, ideas and information.

Ezine Publishing - Ezine publishing has been around much longer than blogging and is far more effective, in my opinion. Your ezine needs to contain helpful resources, information, not just sales pitches. Develop a relationship with your readers. Let them know they can trust you and rely on you when they need your help.

Things to remember when putting together your ezine:
*Keep it clean and easy to read.
*Limit your advertising and be selective.
*Always provide quality content and information.
*Add your personality so your readers can get to know you.
*Always provide contact info; make yourself availableto your readers.
*Be consistent; send your ezine out regularly as scheduled.
*Be sure and proofread your ezine before sending it out.

Online Networking - Online networking, as with offline networking, is very important to your business. This is when you contact as many people as possible to learn more and share more about your business. Many leads can come from networking. There are several ways to do this online.

Email Discussion Groups - go to yahoogroups.com and search for the appropriate groups.

Message Boards - Be sure and follow the rules and offer help whenever possible.

Social Sites - Such as MySpace, Ryze, Merchant Circle, etc. These can be great ways to make more contacts and get more leads.

Joint Ventures - This is when you enter into an agreement with another online marketer that will benefit both of you.
Examples of joint ventures are:

*Ezine ad swaps
*Ebook ad swaps
*Subscription page ad swaps
*Affiliate programs
*Exchanging advertising for percentage of sales
and the list goes on and on. Be creative and come up with new ways you and another business owner can help each other.

Podcasting - Podcasting is using digital media files which are distributed all over the internet via syndication feeds. Podcasting is still a fairly new way of online marketing. Podcasting can be powerful because it uses voice, not words to get the message across. Offer your articles, do voice interviews, offer a chapter of your ebook via podcast, etc. Again, use your imagination and create new ways to spread the word about your business.

Ezine Advertising - Advertising your business, product, service, etc. in quality ezines can be well worth the money spent. There are a few things you can do to help you choose which ezines to advertise in.

Do a search to find ezines that cater to your target market. For example: if you are advertising kids books, you don't want to advertise in a all about cars ezine.

Once you find several target market ezines, subscribe to them so you can look them over, find out about the dependency of the publisher, read feedback from other subscribers and just overall learn what the ezine is about.

Try contacting the publisher to see if they respond to your email. Ask about testimonials from other advertisers. How many ads do they run per issue and what the ads cost.

Ask the publisher to do an ad swap to test the waters and see if you get a response to your ad. Be selective in your choices and always code your ads so you know which ezines actually deliver results.

I hope this article has given you some insight as to how to market your online/home business. I use several of these methods ( and the rest of them I should be using) and know from experience that they work!

The possibilities with the internet are endless and we need to keep up with new and innovative ways of marketing our business. And we also need to keep using the tried and true older methods of online marketing as well.

Five Newer Marketing Tactics and Five Old Tried & True

There are numerous ways to market your business online with a lot of them being free. In this article I have detailed five of the newer marketing methods as well as five of the old tried & true methods that still can do a lot for your business!

Five Newer Marketing MethodsVideo Marketing -

  1. Video Marketing -Video marketing is a powerful and versatile tool for your online business. You can introduce yourself, detail what you offer on your site, demonstrate your products/services, offer free instructional videos, etc. Use your imagination and propel your business forward!
  2. Online Radio - Radio has always been a powerful medium and it continues to be on the internet. Make yourself available to do online radio interviews. This is very cost effective and can get you and your business established all over the world. One place you can find online radios shows is the BusinessResourcesPodcastDirectory.com
  3. RSS Feeds - RSS meaning Really Simple Syndication is an easy way for you to distribute your articles, blogs, and other content all over the net. You need to set up your feed and then maybe start with a weekly article until you get more used to it. You need to promote your feed so people subscribe to it and you can also make your feed available to other websites for more exposure. One good tool for getting started is the RSS Channel Editor.
  4. Social Networking - This marketing method has hit the internet like a tornado! There are numerous social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Ryze, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn and many others. These sites allow you to open an account, add your info and network with thousands of other people. They can really bring attention to your website/business.

A blog keeps people coming back to your site and a blog is also very helpful with the search engines because of the ever changing content. Search engines love new content! A good free blogging tool is WordPress.org.

------------------------------------------

Five Old Tried & True Marketing Techniques

Article Marketing - Article marketing is a powerhouse technique in the marketing world! Although, it has been around for many years, it has not lost any of its effectiveness. Writing and submitting articles to ezine publishers, website owners and article directories is still one of the best ways to build your business.

Ad Swaps - I have participated in ad swaps since the beginning of my internet marketing career over ten years ago. Not only is this a good way to get free advertising, but you also make new business contacts and friends as well. Find quality ezines and contact the publisher, asking them if they would be interested in a joint venture. Swap top sponsor ads, solo mailings, etc. Search ezine directories and search Google as well. There are thousands of ezines being published so there is no shortage of quality publications for ad swapping!

Link Exchanges - Link exchanges is something you hear conflicting reports about. Some people think they don't do any good - some people think they are only effective if done a certain way, etc. In my opinion, link exchanges can be very effective if done consistently. Exchange with quality sites that have a well-organized and categorized links section. Don't exchange with "link farms" or sites that just have one big page loaded with every kind of link imaginable. Be selective and don't offer your link to just any site. .

Ezine Advertising - Ezine advertising can provide your business with a substantial boost! Finding quality ezines to advertise in can be one of the harder steps of ezine advertising. After you find the ezines you want, subscribe to them to get an idea of the consistency, reliability and quality of the ezines. Make sure the ezine is mailed out when it is supposed to be and that it contains quality content.

You do not want to advertise in a big list of ads. This will lower the value of your ad by quite a bit. Does the ezine contain feedback from the other subscribers and if so, what do the subscribers say? These are all ways to indicate whether the ezine publisher is trusted by the subs and whether or not you can trust and believe in the publisher. This is VERY important!

Once you make the decision and choose an ezine or two to advertise in, you must write an effective ad.

The main points to remember when writing an ad are:

1. Keep it brief.

2. Grab their attention in the headline.

3. Emphasize the benefits to the purchaser.

Yahoo Groups and Message Boards - Visit message boards regularly and join some good email discussion groups. Networking on boards and groups can do a lot for your business but you must follow the guidelines for posting and offer help and advice as often as you can. Don't just post your business info and then never come back. This will just brand you as a spammer!

By working on these marketing techniques consistently and efficiently, you are sure to build your business and your reputation which in turn will increase your income. These days, that is one goal we all need to obtain! Much success to you!

10 Effective Ways to Build Your Mailing List

© Terri Seymour of www.SeymourProducts.com
If you have been in this business for any length of time, you have probably heard the saying, “The Money is in the List”.Well, in a big way that is true. Building a mailing list and
sending out regular newsletters, updates, etc. is a very powerful way of increasing your customer base. There are numerous things you can do to build your mailing
list and most of them are free!
1. Be sure to put a subscription form/box on every page of your website. If you want people to sign up for your ezine/newsletter, you need to make it as easy as possible for them,
even if it is as simple as a link saying Subscribe Here।

2. Subscribe Address in your Sigtag – Use your subscribe एड्रेस in your sigtag when you post to message boards, send emails to email discussion lists and anytime you send out an email. This is a very simple, yet effective way to get people to subscribe to your mailing list. For example:
Free ebook to help you build your business। subscribe @ subscribehere.com

3. Offer a Free – Give people some incentive to give their email address for your mailing list. Offer them a free ebook or free software. If possible, write the ebook yourself to get more
exposure for yourself and your business. Let people know they are free to use your ebook as a sign-up bonus as well।

4. Hover Ads – Hover ads, float in ads, pop-up ads, exit ads, can all be very effective in capturing people’s email addresses। Use the ad to offer your freebie and add your subscription
address so it is very easy for people to sign up. When I put one of these ads on my site, I added hundreds of subscribers in just a few weeks। You can get free code for this ad at: tamingthebeast.net/generators/popup-hover-ad.htm

5. Contests – Hold contests on your site to draw more people in to sign up for your mailing list. People don’t mind signing up when they have a chance to win something for free. Keep in
mind that these will not all be solid subscribers. Some will be contest junkies and freebie seekers!

6. Ad Swaps – This an old but effective way to build your mailing list. Search for other quality ezines/newsletters that compliment yours and then contact the publisher. Ask them if they would like to get free exposure for their ezine. Offer to put their ad in your newsletter, if they do the same for you. This can get you lots of free traffic and sign-ups।

7. Ezine Directories – There are numerous ezine directories on the
net and most of them are free. Add your ezine and let publishers
know that you are willing to do ad swaps. You can also look for
ezines to contact for ad swaps।

8। Group Subscription Ads – This is where you sign up for a free
program and get your ezine posted numerous websites along
with other ezines. What you have to do in return is add the code
for the box to your site as well. You can see an example here:
seymourproducts।com down at the bottom of the page.

9। Article Marketing – Article marketing for me has been the most
powerful method of building my mailing list and my customer base.
Take some time to write an informative, helpful article, submit it
to directories and website/ezine owners and you are guaranteed
to get more subscribers!

10। Exchange Recommendations with Other Publishers – This is
similar to an ad swap but you would contact other publishers and
discuss recommending each other’s ezine on your welcome/thank
you page or email. This is the web page or email your subscribers
see after signing up for your ezine. Doing this with several ezine
publishers could greatly increase the rate in which you build your
mailing list/subscriber base.
If you consistently use some or all of these ideas, you will definitely
build a large mailing list. If you use this list to send a quality ezine
they will definitely respond to you and your business!

How to Spring Clean Your Website!

Spring is a wonderful time of year but it might not be so wonderful for
our online business. The weather is getting nicer and people are
spending more time outside, away from their computers. One way to
get more people to come to your website is to do some spring cleaning
and I don’t mean your house! Our websites can get stale and outdated if
we do not clean them up periodically.
There are lots of things you can do to freshen up your site and bring new life
and new customers to your online business।

1. Add a new section filled with resources, information and maybe even some
special deals for your customers. Use relevant keywords to improve your
ranking. For example: if you own a home decor business, offer decorating tips
and advice. Show people how to decorate on a budget or how to redecorate
with things they already own. By providing information and resources along
with your products, you are giving people a reason to keep coming back. This
is how you build trust with your visitors and get more sales।

2. Remove all dead links, outdated information and products. Nothing is
worse than going to a site and finding links that don’t work or information
and/or products that are no longer useable or helpful. Go through all the
links on your site and freshen up the content to offer up to date information!

3. Give your homepage a facelift by adding new graphics, text, etc. Redo your
banner and give it some new life. Take out the old graphics and add some
fresh new images. Research your keywords and revamp your text with some
effective keywords. Write a new introduction to your site detailing all your
new additions।

4. If you haven’t yet tried blogging, read up blogging and zap some life into
your site. Some free blogging sites are Blogger and WordPress. Blogging is a
great way to improve your search engine ranking while expanding your
network।

5। Update your product line. Add some fresh new products and offer the old
products at clearance prices. Have a Spring Sale and liven up your sales! Keep
those customers coming back for more!

6. Add a What’s New page so you can let everyone know about all your
updates now and in the future. This feature could get more people to return to
your site to see What’s New?

7. Research the colors used on your site. You may find changing the colors of
your site can bring a whole new life to your business।

8. Put a small survey on your site. Ask your visitors what they would like to
see and what type of products they are looking for. Getting the information
straight from the horse’s mouth could do your business a lot of good. Offer
your visitors a small gift for answering the questions on the survey।

9. Renew your goals! Make new goals and write out a new business plan.
Learn from your experiences, good and bad, and improve your plan for
success.
Spring is a time of renewal, revitalization and reenergizing! Our online
businesses are no exception!

How to lose weight naturally

Losing weight has become difficult for most people. There are so many diets to choose from and most of them do not work. There are natural stuff that you can take to help you lose weight, by taking this simple concoction every morning and every night before you go to bed.

Lemon/Lime Juice
When you wake up in the morning, drink a glass of lemon/lime juice, mixed together with warm water. Mix together, two medium fresh lemons to one (1) cup of warm water. This should be the FIRST thing you intake in the morning. This should become part of your daily regiment and mix and new batch of this juice each day. The lemon just helps to burn fat, and will help slow the digestion of carbs in your system

After drinking the lemon water you eat your first meal 30 - 45 minutes later.
----------------------------
Eat moderately
I am a believer that you can eat anything you want and not gain weight, but the secret to eating is "eat in moderation". Have a large breakfast, a medium lunch, and a small dinner, (if you are not an active person). If you have a large dinner make sure you do not go to sleep right away. Eat snack in between meals, this will help curb your metabolism.

Drink plenty of water, eat fruits and vegetables, and above all things no matter what you eating, eat in moderation. Do not be greedy, that is what is making us fat we are stretching our stomach walls to the limit.
-----------------------------
Burn Calories
I know most people hate to exercise, but if you just do minimum exercise it will help. They are many TV programs that you can get free exercise program from; FIT TV is one such program.

Also here is a video you can watch to help you get great abs without crunches

If you stick to this regiment, it is not a diet plan; you will be fit and ready for summer। If this work for you pass on this article to someone else who will benefit from losing weight the natural way

How to find yourself and be successful

"Love yourself"
The first step to a better life or finding yourself is to first accept who you are. You can only accept who you are by loving yourself. If you do not love yourself, then you cannot see your strength and the many great things you are worthy of doing. When you love yourself first there is no barrier or stumbling block that can hinder to of any accomplishments.

When you accept yourself for who you are, you have more confidence, and you are better able to succeed. Your self-esteem is high, you think a positive manner, and you will be able to love others, and in return people will love and respect you.

We are all born with things that we hate about ourselves, no matter how perfect we think we look. You have to embrace who you are and accept things you hate, because sometimes the imperfections you hate about yourself, others adore them, so you were born with a not so nice looking nose, so what. Embrace your big, not so straight nose and move, as that nose is what makes you unique.
------------------------------
Know your Talent/Gift
Everyone was born with a talent, and most of us do not succeed, because we are not using our talent that was give to us. Figure out your talent, and work on what you do best. If you do what you like you will have more fun, energy and zeal to achieve a goal.

If you are doing something that you are not good at or hate, you will never succeed, as you will always be complaining.
------------------------------
Dream Big
There is a big difference between dreaming big and being a daydreamer. When you dream big, you want that dream and you reach for that dream. You plan and you remain focus on your plans, and you never give up no matter what.

Daydreamer sits around and wishes so do not be a daydreamer, work hard for what you want, and do let anyone tell you, “you can’t. When all the doors are shut, do not give up, try the windows. There is always a window for opportunity.

Remember when you hit rock bottom, the only way you can go is “up”. Get up put the entire negative behind you and press forward; telling yourself that you are a “victor not a victim” Let this be your daily reminder. “I am a victor, not a victim”.
-----------------------------------
“Positive environment”
“Show me your company and I will tell you who you are”, this is an old saying. Most time for us to succeed all we need a change of scenery. Something things happen in our lives and this is a sign to say get out and go something. Remember that everything in life happens for a reason.

Chose your friends wisely, because they can make you are break you. If you surround yourself with negative people who are constantly telling you ‘it will never work”, find new friends. Sooner or later we will soon start believing in those words. You need people whoa re going to be encouraged and support. It is better to try and fail than to never try all.
---------------------------
Never settle
Most people are in an unhappy relationship or job, because they chose to settle. NEVER settle for good enough, always want more. Do stay in a marriage, relation or your job; because it is good enough, there is more out here.

If your relationship is abusive in any way, do not stay in there. Because you think no one else will accept you for who you are. Do not stay in a job, because you are earning enough to be happening. No! Never settle, there is always more out there for you to do. When you settle you limit yourself.

Reach for the sky it is the limit, and never says this is “good enough” You are wasting your talent and your life. Also way strive for better, do not become dormant, success is always searching for you, but if your stop looking it will never find you. There is a difference between “good enough” and “greed”. I am not saying you are to be greedy I am not telling you to settle for “good enough”

SECRETS OF THE RICHEST PEOPLE

Would you like to realize your goals? Maybe you'd like to run your own business, expand your material possessions, or succeed in the arts. There is no one path to the pot of gold, but many people of all backgrounds have successfully found it.

Whether you want to follow the ways of the great financiers, the famous politicians, or the dynamic movie stars, there are common modes of behavior each of them followed. And in many cases, they have shared their secrets so YOU CAN FOLLOW THEIR FOOTSTEPS.

"If you wish to know the road up the mountain, ask the person who goes back and forth on it," said the ancient sage, Zenrin. What better way is there to know the secrets than to ask those who made it?

What goals do you want to achieve? And what amount of effort can you commit? You may want money for the extra things in life, money to build a corporate empire, or money to support yourself while you pursue the fine arts.

Perhaps you'd like to take the risk to start something new in your life. You may want to open your own business, devote your energies to an artistic career such as acting, or reap the benefits of your yearly endeavors with fabulous vacations several times a year.

What will bring you happiness? The satisfaction of success takes many forms. Not only are people seeking financial fortunes, but also the ancient goal of peace of mind.

Do you worry? You might be concerned about your health or your family's well-being. You may be anxious about the added expenses of education, medical bills, or the steady increase of cost of living. There are ways out of the endless cycles of worry, stress and anxiety. Right now, you can rise above the whirl of survival to achieve the accomplishments you dream of. When you're ready to put your whole effort into realizing your goals, YOU WILL SUCCEED.

WHAT ARE RICHES

"Had I but plenty of money, money enough to spare," wrote Robert Browning. And money is the greatest attribute of riches. A universal desire, money is the materialization of riches, the stuff that makes the rest possible.

Are you looking for financial security? For retirement, for education or leisure? Riches are the overflowing abundance of material possessions - houses, cars, boats, furnishings - everything you ever wanted.

Centuries ago, Horace wrote, "By right means, if you can, but by any means, make money." For many people it is a path towards happiness, a cure-all for worry and peace of mind.

For others, riches come in the form of satisfaction and personal independence. Satisfaction comes from accomplishment in employment or attaining goals. It is that feeling of contentment and confidence from a good task well done. Riches are closely linked with success. And with that comes fame and acknowledgment of position. Success might be the feeling of well-being from the rewards of good effort. Or the enthusiasm and vitality triggered by recognition.

"Success is how well I enjoy the minutes," said producer Norman Lear.

Throughout history, the people who lived with riches often achieved them by hard work, diligence and a belief in themselves. For some people, it took courage, genius and stamina.

But for many others, it took nothing special but the desire to turn dreams into reality. Whether you want millions of dollars, recognition as an artist, or personal freedom, you have the ability to make your life as rich as you want.

Think about what you most desire. It may not be hard cash, but what it can buy. Or it may be those feelings of inner satisfaction, from creating something beautiful or strong.

You may want personal independence from the work week, or freedom to live anywhere you want. You may be looking for something meaningful and significant in life - something other than things money can buy. Whatever your goals, and however difficult they seem to be to accomplish, you have the ability to become who you want. Take a look - can you see yourself surrounded by riches?

Picture the world open and in front of you, ready to become the form of your dreams, ready to stage your desires. "Why then, the world's mine oyster," wrote Shakespeare, "which I with sword will open."

WHO IS SUCCESSFUL?

Many people who achieve fortune in the world are not born rich. But they accomplish their dee hard to implement as it will bring in lots of ordersires through hard work and a plan of action.

Every type of person on earth can become successful. There are saints and scoundrels; philanthropists and thieves; poets and politicians; young and old. There are no limitations or physical boundaries for success.

Success comes to those who think about success and strive for it. Although many rich financiers at the turn of the century had no formal education, they overcame that and went on to great fame.

Some people strive towards a single goal from early in life, and often attain that goal while still young. Others are willing to risk new adventures later and still attain success.

"It's never too late to learn," wrote Malcolm Forbes, the money magnate. "I learned to ride a motorcycle at 50 and fly balloons at 52."

Whatever your task, whatever your obstacles, you can be as successful as anyone else. Study the people who accomplished recognition in the areas of your pursuit. How did they achieve their goals?

And don't be afraid you don't have what it takes. As Daniel Webster wrote, "There is always room at the top."

FORMING CONVICTION
The single attribute that every successful person has is the one-pointed devotion to attain a goal. "There in the sunshine are my highest aspirations," wrote Louisa May Alcott, "I can look up and see their beau§ty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead."

What are your desires? How can you form them into definite goals that you can attain? Lawrence Peter wrote, "If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else."

Maybe you're studying a craft or skill. Perhaps you're caught in a rung of the cororate ladder. Or, you might feel constricted by your family and the environment around you.

Which star are you reaching for? "Ours is a world where people don't know what they want and are willing to go through anything to get it," wrote Don Marquis.

Take the time to think about your own aspirations. Look inside to find what feels right. Almost everyone entertains the notions of fame and fortune, but put on the costume that fits you.

Conviction requires certain qualities of action. You must be sincere and be willing to assume responsibility. And you need the self-discipline necessary to work towards your goals.
Are you prepared to achieve your dreams? Can you form their reality in your mind? Will you devote your entire being to attaining what you want?

ON YOUR OWN

Most millionaires are non-conformists. So are the most famous actors and actresses; and the most prominent artists. Writers are known for their individual traits and eccentricities.

Your convictions and goals are your own business, even when you find help along the path. Mentors often take people under their wings to nourish and teach. Or spiritual guides will show you the path to attainment. But you're on your own to achieve.

Cultivate a sense of justice and an ability to make decisions. Cooperate with everybody and develop your own self-respect. And follow good criticism and advice after you've judged carefully. J. Paul Getty said, "I advise young millionaires to be skeptical of advice. They should advise themselves; they should form their own opinions."

Lord Byron wrote, "There is rapture on the lonely shore." And if you attain your goals with poise and sincerity, you'll find warmth and love at the top - not the cold loneliness pictured by the jealous.

Put on blinders to negative comments and criticism meant to hurt you. About the people who criticize, Voltaire wrote, "Never having been able to succeed in the world, they took revenge by speaking ill of it."

SEIZE THE DAY

People are judged by what they think and what they say. But the true measure of their character is what they do. Anyone who has achieved success and fortune in the world has done it by action.

William Jennings Bryan wrote, "Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved."

The choice of the path you follow is often put before you as opportunity. "Few people recognize opportunity," said Cary Grant, "because it comes disguised as hard work."

Don't let opportunities slip past while you're still considering them, and create new ones as you see them. "Wise people make more opportunities than they find," said Francis Bacon.

What opportunities can you act upon? Woolworth saw a need for small inexpensive items and opened the chain of stores that grossed billions. Wrigley started giving gum away as a bonus from a supplies wagon he sold from, and saw the opportunity to make mon§ey from the gum that became in high demand.

All successful people the world over have found the opportunities for their own special talents and acted upon those ways to achieve. Why wait for the time to pass? There's never a better time than now.

"Sometimes," wrote Lewis Carroll believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Take your own impossible dreams and make them become reality.

HOW THEY THINK

Thousands of potential millionaires are born every year. And making a million dollars is coming closer to everyone's pocket. What advice did the money-makers follow?

Aristotle Onassis worked eighteen hours a day to maintain his fortune. He started as a welder and aimed for the top. "You have to think money day and night," he said, "you should even dream about it in your sleep."

John D. Rockefeller, Jr., said, "I believe in the dignity of labor, wheth§er with head or hand; that the world owes every person an opportunity to make a living."

And J. Paul Getty acknowledged his hard work: "I have no complex about wealth. I have worked hard for my money, producing things people need."

Even Proverbs advises: "In all labor there is profit."

Richard Bach, the author of the best selling "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" wrote, "You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however."

The Empress of the British Empire, Queen Victoria, admonished, "We are not interested in the possibilities of defeat."

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

There are qualities of endeavor and achievement that are common to many people who make it to the top. The following questions are a guideline to self-enterprise and attaining your goals.

1. Do you prefer to work for yourself than for others?

2. Are you well-informed on current business and political affairs?

3. Are you a leader?

4. Do you take advantage of opportunities?

5. Do you pay attention to what other people say?

6. Can you finish a job even when it is difficult or unpleasant?

7. Are you challenged by problems?

8. Do you have a goal you want to achieve?

9. Do you consider other people?

10. Do you strive to attain?

11. Can you obey commands?

12. Can you bounce back after defeat?

13. Do you believe in yourself?

14. Can you stand by your actions in spite of criticism?

15. Can you follow instructions?

16. Can you respond to the needs of others?

17. Will you give credit to other

18. Can you make your own decisions?

19. Are you determined?

20. Are you ready for success?

ESTABLISH A GOAL

What do you want? Are you looking for financial security, professional acknowledgment, spiritual attainment? Do you want to fit better socially, or become more expressive creatively? Establish the goal that's right for you.

Then turn that goal from a dream into a desire. You want to realize that goal, not just wish for it. Aesop said, "Beware that you do not lose the substance by grabbing at the shadow." Know exactly what you want, then go for it.

Don't be tricked by your own procrastination - especially if you want to achieve something artistic. The writer Thomas Wolfe wrote, "I had been sustained by that delightful illusion of success which we all have when we dream about the books we are going to write instead of actually doing them. Now I was face to face with it, and suddenly I realized that I had committed my life and my integrity so irrevocably to this struggle that I must conquer now or be destroyed."

Can you see what you want? If you want the abundance of material wealth that money provides, what goal will give you that money? Do you want the prestige of owning your own business? What business do you want to begin?

Where are the opportunities for you? Talk to everyone in the business you want to join. Make friends in the literary or art societies in your area. Read books and articles about your field of endeavor. How can you attain your goal?

"If you don't want to work, you have to work to earn enough money so that you don't have to work," wrote Ogden Nash. And isn't that the way" Money makes money; success breeds success. But not always. How can you break through those thoughts to help yourself to the rewards?

Henry David Thoreau wrote, "I have learned this at least by my experiment: that if you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams, and endeavor to live the life which you imagine, you will meet with success."

Think big and visualize success. Do you see yourself in a big house? Maybe you picture your artwork hanging in a gallery. Can you feel your book in print and in your hands? How does it feel to be a person of success? Believe that you are; believe that it is in your grasp. That's what the others did, and that's how people make it to the top.

Then get down to basics. Be precise. Exactly how much money do you want, and by what date? And exactly what are you going to do to earn that money? Be realistic, but give yourself short-term goals.

Write it down. In six months or one year, you will have how much money. And repeat it until it feels good. Then repeat it twice a day until it swirls in your subconscious, until it becomes your one-pointed goal.

"The goal stands up, the keeper stands up to keep the goal," wrote A.E. Housman.

KEYS TO SUCCESS

Make people feel at ease. They will respond to your needs as you respond to theirs.

Share the spotlight. Give credit to those who deserve it - and to those who strive. Don't grab praise away from other people.

Have confidence in your own value. Don't do anything that won't credit your own self-respect. Follow up your actions as they reflect your own self-worth.

Listen well to others' comments. Then weigh your own actions. Cultivate relationships with people who have good and important things to say.

Participate in life. Be active in business meetings and endeavors; volunteer to be part of organizations and groups. Social interaction will boost your sense of well-being .

Feel worthy of your own goal. Know that you can attain it and that it is right for you.

Grasp your own challenge. Don't give yourself impossible goals, but always reach higher.

Relax and be yourself. Each person is different and just as wonderful as the next. Don't be plagued by what you think others think of you.

Don't bathe in success - use it. Once you achieve your first goal, go on to others. Use the money you earn for the rewards you look for. Then go on to the next endeavor.

Be slow to criticize others' achievements. Find out how they did it and learn from them.

Never use subterfuge. Don't go behind someone's back. Speak your mind and earn respect.

Banish negative thoughts and traits. Restructure your life to exclude bad habits.

Believe in yourself and what you are to accomplish. All the power in the world is within you to achieve.

WORK TOWARDS YOUR GOAL

"To get profit without risk, experience without danger, and reward without work, is as impossible as it is to live without being born," wrote A.P. Gouthey. Every person who has attained something worthwhile has worked for that goal.

Cary Grant said, "I do believe that people can do practically anything they set out to do if they apply themselves diligently and learn."

Which path is the right way towards your goal? Do you need more education? Do you need a few years experience in your field of business? Maybe you need a teacher or guide to help you practice.

"I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached, as by the obstacles which are overcome while trying to succeed," wrote Booker T. Washington.

What obstacles are in your way? Consider them as easy to pass through as hurdles are to a champion runner. Take each obstacle as a special challenge placed especially for you. Approach it with intelligence and courage, then learn what it has to teach.

"Success is a journey," said Ben Sweetland, "not a destination." For some, the process of attainment is the attainment itself. They move on, keep growing and expanding. There is no still water at the top.

"The message from the moon is that no problem need any longer be considered insoluble," wrote Norman Cousins. And you can attain anything that seems impossible.

If you have a problem that needs to be solved, sit calmly and consider it with a clear mind. Observe all the consequences of the actions - both good and bad. Ponder the paths and actions and contemplate the core of the problem. The solution will appear.

"Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you for everyone who asketh, receiveth. He that seeketh, findeth and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened."

Tap the inner self and encourage positive actions. With each outgoing breath, release the impossible; at each incoming breath, inhale the attainable. Demand the best of yourself, but don't despair from an overused sense of perfection.

What can you learn? And who can teach you? Can you attend classes and seminars from universities near home? Check out books from the libraries and absorb the material. Find a master and become an apprentice.

"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty," said Henry Ford. "Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young."

Never stop learning; never stop growing and expanding as a person and in your personal endeavor.

ASK YOURSELF

As you consider the success you desire, you need to affirm its possibilities and develop the self-confidence necessary to attain the goals. Learn to do things well. "If you know how to do one thing well, you can do everything," wrote the philosopher Gurdjieff.

Are you ready for success?

Is what you are doing now helping you to achieve your goals?
Do you weigh the consequences before making a decision?

Is this the best use of your time?

Do you cooperate with everyone and help cultivate their best potentials?

Are you warm and sincere?

Do you have the courage to succeed?

Do you have the self-discipline necessary to achieve your goals?

Do you have a realistic sense of self-worth?

Do you give more than you take?

Do you have the courage to fail, and then pick up and try again?

Can you assume responsibility without blaming others if things go wrong?

Are you strong?

Can you be sympathetic to life and its sufferings?

Can you say no?

Will you follow your convictions and plans to achieve?

Do you sincerely want to achieve the goals you have chosen?

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

"The price of greatness is responsibility," wrote Winston Churchill. Are you willing to take the responsibility once you attain the success you desire?

"The deepest personal defeat suffered by human beings is constituted by the difference between what one was capable of becoming and what one has in fact become," wrote Ashley Montague. And the greatest tragedy is to become less than your full potential, using less than the abilities you have to work with.

Are you waiting for something to happen? Maybe you're waiting for a job offer, or a promotion. Perhaps you're waiting until you get good enough at a craft or skill. Or are you waiting for the inspiration of creativity to strike your life?

It is up to you to take the actions and be responsible for their consequences. "Our responsibility: every opportunity, an obligation; every possession, a duty," wrote John D. Rockefeller, Jr.

Inspire yourself. Read books that will spurn you to action; talk to people who have the vitality you admire. How would you like to lead your life? And make the changes necessary to be like that. "There is nothing permanent except change," wrote Heraclitus. What changes do you want to make? What are you waiting for?

ACCOMPLISHMENT

What actions will take you closer to your goals? Decide upon the steps and write them down. Review them until you feel comfortable with those steps. Then repeat them at least once a day, crossing them off as you accomplish them.

"I believe there is no escape from the rule that We must do many, many little things to accomplish even just one big thing," said James Dupont. "This gives me patience when I need it most."

The most rewarding accomplishments are those that take long to achieve and present difficulties. It is only through these difficulties that a person can rise above the rest to be the unusual, the outspoken and the well-deserved.

As if building a kit, follow your own instructions. Decide your best courses of action and achieve their benefits. Whether the steps are small or large, make them achievable and then do them. Don't commit yourself to things that you never intend to do.

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there," said Will Rogers. Don't be paralyzed by inaction; rather act upon your own convictions.

Set yourself up for rewards. Don't give yourself goals that have no feeling of satisfaction or no monetary rewards. If you want to be an artist, be the best and learn from the best. Don't dwell on imperfections or the awkwardness of unpolished skills.

If you go into business, do it for profit or reinvestment. "In business, the earning of profit is something more than an incident of success. It is an essential condition of success. Because the continued absence of profit itself spells failure," said Justice Brandeis.

Marchant wrote, "To be a success in business, be daring, be first, be different." Think of ways to achieve the best; formulas to increase productivity or decrease overhead. Profit is your drive.

"Profitability is the sovereign criterion of the enterprise," wrote Peter Drucker. And, profitability is the core of any achievement - whether financial or artistic.

Once you achieve your goals, think of ways to benefit others. "Money-getters are the benefactors of our race," said P.T. Barnum. "To them we are indebted for our institutions of learning, and of art, our academies, colleges and churches." How can you benefit humankind and still keep enough to fulfill your own desires?

THE HIDDEN ASSET

Not all success can be counted in dollars; not all richness is measured by money. "The great secret of success is to go through life as a person who never gets used up," said Albert Schweitzer. "Retire upon yourself and look for the ultimate cause of things inside you."

Look within yourself for the ultimate inspiration, and follow the true feelings you discover. "One of my favorite methods is to whisper," said Alfred Hitchcock. "I've discovered the best work is done with sweet reason."

Act upon your own conscience -that guides; that judges your actions and signals your behavior. "Conscience is the inner voice that warns us that someone may be looking," wrote H.L. Mencken.

Accomplish what you desire; fulfill your inner yearnings. But don't compromise your deepest feelings.

"We do our best that we know how at the moment, and if it doesn't turn out, we modify it," said F.D. Roosevelt.

Follow the paths that life offers you and live the fullest existence you can.

TAKE A LOOK

Look at yourself and look at those who have succeeded throughout history. Do you have what it takes? Even if you have only a few of the qualities of the other great people, you can achieve your heart's desire.

Reach for the highest, then reach higher. Accomplish your steps one by one on a daily basis, always moving forward, always making progress. Encourage yourself. Insist that you can succeed and affirm these thoughts daily.

Keep a sense of proportion and judge for yourself. Then keep busy at the tasks you've set out to accomplish. What's keeping you? "Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration," said Albert Einstein.

Find inspiration wherever you can. Talk to people; read about people; learn your business or craft. Believe that you can do it and you will. The only way to dispel the doubt that you can do something is to finish it.

Always be the best you can be. Never fall short from fatigue or lethargy. Don't attempt to do anything that you can't give your all to.

There is no way to inner satisfaction without appealing to the higher consciousness. Search within and without to find the paths that are meant for you and follow them with conviction and a steady heart. And, you will succeed to become as rich and full as you ever desired.

Harold Ickes wanted the "freedom to live one's life with the window of the soul open to new thoughts, new ideas and new aspirations."

And Woody Allen looked for a clear path. "If only God would give me some clear sign" he said. "Like making a large deposit in my name at a Swiss bank."

Finally, Sophie Tucker sums up everyone's worldly outlook: "I've been rich and I've been poor," she said. "Rich is better."
