How to make savory crepes

Savory crepes are called "galettes" which can be eaten for breakfast or lunch. Crepes are easy to make and can be used as a dessert for party food.

You can be creative when making crepes, such as adding your favorite fruits to make it more delicious.

Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/3 cup water
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter


Directions
(1) In a mixing bowl or you can use a blender or food processor, blend or whisk together flour and eggs. Then gradually add the milk and water until mixture is smooth.

If using a blender or food processor add butter and salt to mixture and blend for five seconds. If you are using a mixing bowl, melt butter in microwave or on stove and apply to mixture, whisk for 1 minute.

(2) Heat a nonstick pan over medium high heat or use a griddle. Coat pan or griddle with butter. Next pour 1/4 cup or 2 - 3 tbsp of batter, tilting and rotating the pan to coat the surface evenly.

(3) Cook crepe for 2 minutes or until almost dry on top and lightly browned around the edges. Use a spatula to loosen the edges and then flip the crepes over and continue to cook for other side for 15 - 20 seconds.

Serve immediately or place crepes in aluminum foil and store in a 200 F oven to keep warm, until you are ready to serve.

Tips
* Crepes can be place in plastic wraps and refrigerate for up to 3 days, or put in freezer for up to 2 months
