How to make Mojito Lemonade

This is a cocktail drink that can be served at barbeques. It is very easy to make, as it is sparkling lemonade with crushed ice and mint with alcohol.

This is drink can be alcohol and non- alcohol, based on how you like it. You can also add different flavor such as raspberry or strawberry to have your own twist to it.

With the summer nearing this drink will definitely cool you down. So sit back and enjoy a glass of mojito..


INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Mint Leaves
2-3 Lime Wedges
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
5 cups club soda
4 cups vodka or 2 cups white rum
4 cups fresh lemon juice
½ cup superfine sugar

DIRECTIONS
(1) Mix together sugar and water, or you can heat sugar and water on medium heat to form syrup (This will make is sweeter). Then remove from heat and place in refrigerator for 2 hours

(2) Stir in vodka or white rum, club soda, lemon juice and superfine sugar

(3) Put in the mint leaves and crush to release the mint oils

(4) Add the ice and with lemon wedges and garnish with mint sprigs and serve chill.

You can also add angostura bitters for a little variation.

TIPS
*This makes 20 servings.
* To make it Non-Alcoholic Mojito, do not add the vodka or rum, or use just a teaspoon.
